This is reported by BELTA.
Lukashenko and Raisi signed the document based on the results of the negotiations that took place on March 13 in Tehran.
The roadmap envisages comprehensive cooperation between Belarus and Iran in the political, economic, consular, scientific and technical, educational, culture, art and tourism spheres.
It is noted that the agreement on the development and preparation of the document was reached during the meeting of Alexander Lukashenko and Ebrahim Raisi in September 2021 on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
As a result of the negotiations, Lukashenko and Raisi also concluded an agreement on the transfer of persons sentenced to imprisonment for further serving of the sentence.
Lukashenko expressed his admiration for "the tenacity with which the people of Iran resist external pressure, attempts to impose someone else's will" and at the same time develop modern technologies and nuclear energy.
"Belarus and Iran can be very useful to each other if they really join forces," Lukashenko said.
