"Unfortunately, we cannot expect anything new from the aggressive Russia, whether it was 80 years ago or today - the same crimes against humanity are being committed," said one of the initiators of the project, Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė of Lithuania’s Conservative Party
The resolution condemns the expulsion of more than a million civilians from their homes and their forcible deportation to Russia or its territories in order to "destroy Ukraine's identity."
It was also mentioned that 200,000 children were among the deported.
