Invading Russian forces shell Kramatorsk, Slovyansk almost simultaneously, injuring 4 people
In the evening of September 26, invading Russian forces shelled the cities of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk, Donetsk region, almost simultaneously
The mayor of Kramatorsk, Oleksandr Honcharenko, reported on the shelling of the city.
"Shelling of the center of Kramatorsk. High-rise buildings and a square were damaged. 4 people were injured (1 in serious condition)," he wrote.
The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Pavlo Kyrylenko, added that the Russian occupiers shelled Kramatorsk and Slovyansk almost simultaneously.
"In Kramatorsk, the rockets hit the city center: one rocket fell into the Born in Ukraine sculpture park by the famous artist from the Donetsk region Vyacheslav Hutyri, and the other one hit a 5-story building. The sculptures survived, only some were cut by fragments," Kyrylenko wrote.
According to him, the second rocket caused much more damage - as a result of a direct hit, a wall in one of the five-story apartments was destroyed. 4 people were injured. At least 34 windows were broken in the house, and the roof was partially damaged.
As for Slovyansk, a residential area in the center of the city came under fire. At least three buildings were damaged. Information about the victims is being clarified.
Pavlo Kyrylenko urged the peaceful residents of the Donetsk region to evacuate, stressing that the Russian invaders kill indiscriminately, so a rocket or an artillery projectile can hit anywhere and at any time.
