How unmanned model of Leopard tank fools invading Russian forces
Ukraine is working hard to produce realistic models of various weaponry and military equipment. Infocom LTD's endeavor to model the Leopard main battle tank is one such example
The Ukrainian company Infocom LTD is working on a project to create its own model of a Leopard tank based on a conventional car, according to Eduard Trotsenko, co-founder and CEO of the company, as part of a joint project between Defense Express and Espreso TV.
According to him, the company will start working on the concept of the so-called "autonomous active dummy" of the German main battle tank Leopard in iron this week.
"The basis for this tank will be a Ford vehicle that will be modernized with a remote control system. The vehicle will then be fitted with individual modules that will turn it into a realistic replica of a German tank that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively using on the battlefield," the company writes.

This tank can actually be disassembled in the field, loaded into a vehicle, and moved to its destination. In other words, the corporation will eventually exhibit a very accurate facsimile of the German vehicle that will also be movable, which should aid in deceiving the enemy on the battlefield and forcing them to use time and energy eliminating a false target.
"In general, models of various weapons and military equipment are actively used by the Ukrainian military on the battlefield today - as previously reported by Western media, the Russian military has already destroyed hundreds of models of weapons and military equipment in Ukraine, the price of one can vary from less than USD 1,000," Defense Express notes.
Metinvest's exceptionally realistic models of howitzers and radars, which include copies of weaponry like as M777 and D-20 howitzers, as well as 36D6 and AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel radars, are of particular interest.
