Energoatom says missile that hit Voznesensk may have been directed at Southern Ukrainian nuclear power plant
The shelling of the surveillance zone of the Southern Ukrainian nuclear power plant, which includes Voznesensk, is another cynical act of Russian nuclear terrorism
This was reported by Energoatom in its Telegram channel.
The strike on the city of Voznesensk, located near the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant, caused serious concern at JSC "Energoatom".
"The very fact of the shelling of the surveillance zone of the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant is another cynical act of Russian nuclear terrorism. After all, the fragments of an enemy missile that hit the house were found on the spot. And it is possible that this missile was aimed precisely in the direction of the PANPP, which the Russian military tried to capture back at the beginning of March. Then the attempt turned out to be unsuccessful: the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped the invaders, - reports Energoatom. - Then, near Voznesensk, Ukrainian Security Service officers detained three Russian soldiers who were hiding in abandoned buildings. All three were part of a group that planned to seize the station. Since then, the invaders have been ruthlessly shelling the southern region of Ukraine, destroying its infrastructure and showing no mercy on people."
