Battle for Bakhmut. Two scenarios of events
I am confident that victory is in our hands, and I believe that our army will choose the best course of action
In my non-expert and non-professional opinion, there are two ways in the battle for Bakhmut:
The first option is to drag crowds of poorly trained mobilized soldiers, who have no experienced sergeants and officers, threatening soldiers with jail for leaving their positions, and to correct the situation with dozens of commissions and investigative groups, appointing official investigations and reprimands, doing "brave" photo shoots, although the main photo shoot location is in the south and north of the city.
The second is to organize the command and control of troops, tactics and use of soldiers, intelligence and means of defeat as it is done by the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade and the Adam Tactical Group, to concentrate some ammunition and simply eliminate those who continue to run into frontal attacks.
“The purpose of war is not a career, a position and the opportunity to report good news, the purpose of war is to create tactics to destroy the enemy that gives results, as many of our combat commanders have learned to do”
I am confident that victory is in our hands and I believe that our army will choose the best course of action.
To do this, of course, the results of hostilities need to be studied, post-operational analysis should be introduced and the merits of commanders should be measured not by reports and emotions, but by video with the coordinates of defeat. Because the purpose of war is not a career, a position and the opportunity to report good news, the purpose of war is to create tactics to destroy the enemy that gives results, as many of our combat commanders have learned to do.
