"Today we managed to carry out another evacuation from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv Region: 943 civilians, including 216 children", the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration wrote.
Synyehubov also emphasized that currently all people have received the necessary assistance and are safe.
"All the evacuees are already in safe places and under Ukrainian flags. Everyone was given all the necessary help", he said.
Russian troops launch rocket attacks on the Kharkiv region every day, civilians are injured or killed.
