Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation names Putin's main narrative promoted by Russian media on October 26
Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation says that the Russian media are actively promoting a new narrative statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin
This was reported by the official Telegram channel of Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation.
“We need the maximum realistic assessment of the situation and сurrent state of affairs as a whole,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said and demanded to increase the pace of work in all areas.
The Russian media spread this message in such a context, as if Putin personally took control of all directions and now the "special operation" will advance faster and more successfully.
“In fact, Putin has long been the head of the command of the Russian Armed Forces, but lack of motivation and total corruption in his army lead to a natural result. The words about "the most realistic assessment of the situation" are a narrative designed for the domestic population, which has lost confidence in the authorities. In this way, Putin demonstrates that he is also being deceived along with his people. This is an ordinary PR move, from which Putin wants to get at least some positivity,” the Center for Countering Disinformation writes.
