"They want to cover themselves with human shields: Kherson Regional Military Administration calls to ignore "evacuation" announced by Russian forces
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration warns civilians against "evacuation" to Russia, because amid the Ukrainian Armed Forces' success, the occupying Russian forces want to take Ukrainians hostage and use them as human shields
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, wrote about this on Telegram.
“People of Kherson, please ignore everything that the occupying Russian forces tell you or demand. They want to take our people hostage and use them as human shields. Do not allow the evil empire to hide behind you, your parents, and children,” Yanushevych emphasized.
The head of the region stressed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not destroy the villages and cities. The soldiers use high-precision weapons and strike only at the Russian army's equipment, control points, and bases.
"Instead, the Russian forces are mercilessly shelling peaceful targets where there are no military personnel. It is not important what the occupiers think about the Kherson region, because it will be as Ukraine's Armed Forces decide. That is, the Kherson region will be free from these inhumans," Yanushevych emphasized.
