Andrii Shapovalov, acting head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, told Espreso TV.
According to him, Russians trust theses of Russian propaganda, which contradict each other. Andrii Shapovalov believes that this is a social contract between the people and the authorities of the Russian Federation.
“The Russians were promised that the war would only be on TV, and they would not have to do anything, the Russian Federation would definitely win, but you are voting for us (the Russian government - ed.). But today the pattern is breaking and the war on TV is turning into a real one. When will we see resistance? When the war enters every house in Russia. Every family should receive a coffin. I think after that they will start to suspect something,” he emphasized.
