Russians prepare to shell Kherson
Russian statements about Ukrainian Armed Forces will allegedly shell Kherson may mean that they themselves are preparing to attack the city.
Vitaliy Kim, the head of Mykolayiv Regional Military Administration, reports.
"Taking into account the statements of Russians that Ukrainian Armed Forces will shell Kherson, there is an impression that they prepare to attack the city. Unfortunately," Kim said.
He also added that Ukrainian military is doing well and work is being done in all directions.
"Russian occupying forces produce a lot of PSYOP. It's all nonsense, don't mess around. We only trust verified sources. We're watching how our military is kicking the ass of Russians," Kim said.
Also, the first deputy chairman of Kherson Region Regional Council, Yuriy Sobolevskyi, spoke about possible Russian provocations.
"Considering the current situation, I want to appeal to the heads of condominiums, medical staff and residents of the city of Kherson. One of Russian propaganda messages is that Ukrainian Armed Forces will shell the city. I emphasize that Ukrainian army has not committed and will not commit such actions. Our soldiers first of all release people, not territories. For them, human life and the preservation of the city's critical infrastructure are important, so that this life can be maintained in a normal condition in the future," Sobolevskyi wrote.
He also noted that the enemy who captured the city is treacherous.
"We can see his actions in those de-occupied communities that were brought to a humanitarian crisis and left with almost nothing. Therefore, I ask our residents to be ready for any provocations of the aggressor. The heads of condominiums and hospital workers should check the available shelters for the possibility of accepting people there. Hospitals in Kherson are humanitarian headquarters. We must be ready to work in an intensified mode," Sobolevskyi said.
In addition, the first deputy head of the regional council of the Kherson region, reminded about survival kits with documents, supplies of water and food for several days.
"Ukraine is doing everything possible to keep you safe and you won't need that suitcase. However, we have to be ready. Kherson will definitely become free. Free life will return to its streets. Let's get together, help each other and believe in Victory!" Sobolevskyi wrote.
