Russian forces plan to turn Kherson into second Mariupol and pin blame to Ukrainian Armed Forces

“We saw what happened in Bucha, Irpin, Borodianka, Balaklia, and Izium. When we liberate Mariupol, we will see the scale of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation. Russia is already receiving accusations. They want to turn Kherson into a second Mariupol, but with the hands of Ukraine's Armed Forces. The Russian forces can kill the people who remained in Kherson and blow up houses, blaming Ukrainian shells,” Sazonov said.

The military serviceman also added that the artillery of Ukraine's Armed Forces works flawlessly in the Kherson region. Ukrainian fighters hold the defense lines.

“The Russian leadership is indeed withdrawing some units from Kherson. It is withdrawing airborne troops, stormtroopers, and recruits of the Wagner PMC, but they are replacing one military man with three mobilized soldiers. There are a lot of them in Kherson. They try to attack our positions from time to time, but we repel the attacks. Many Russian corpses are simply lying in the fields. The Russian forces do not take them away, but send new ones,” Sazonov explained.
