Russian forces keep transport on Dnipro's left bank in Kherson region to quickly evacuate - international expert Danilov
Serhii Danilov, deputy director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, says that the Russian forces are consolidating their power in temporarily occupied territories and at the same time keeping buses for evacuation
He said this on Espreso TV.
“Multidirectional processes are taking place in the temporarily occupied cities in the south of Ukraine. On the one hand, the occupiers are strengthening their power on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region: they pushed out the hryvnia, forced entrepreneurs to re-register, enter enterprises and property into their databases, accumulate some resources in the forest zone, and use old industrial infrastructure and various natural objects. On the other hand, there were reports from eyewitnesses that the buses were parked and the drivers clearly knew that they were going to evacuate. Perhaps there will be a departure of collaborators from Henichesk and Skadovsk, because many of them fled to these cities. The Russians keep a constant supply of vehicles in order to quickly evacuate those they deem necessary,” the analyst said.
Serhii Danilov concluded that the occupying Russian forces are showing confidence and at the same time, for example, in the same Chaplynka, there is no one left from the top of the collaborators. And this is the situation in many locations, either a part escaped, or, if necessary, they will be organized to be taken away.
