Russian army redeploys remaining equipment to Kherson - Kherson’s mayoral office
As the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to counterattack in southern Ukraine, Russian forces' actions in Kherson intensify
Acting Deputy Mayor of Kherson Roman Holovnia shared the statement on Espreso broadcast.
"On July 26, from the very morning and throughout the day, there was no Internet and mobile communication, even though Russian invaders imported their SIM cards. This indicates that the Russian occupiers are cutting off communication, fearing that information will be transmitted to our military from the civilian population and at this time they are redeploying equipment to positions in Kherson and the region. Equipment with "V" and "O" markings, which was not typical for our region - remnants of equipment from other directions are being brought here," he said.
According to Golovna, Russian forces are really feeling both the pressure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as serious damage.
"The harder our military counterattacks, the more unpredictable and inadequate the Russian military behaves. They rush around the city like driven rats - check garages, basements, set up additional roadblocks. They carry out filtering actions. We have a lot of cases when they come to the beach and check everyone's tattoos. These are inadequate actions that indicate stress and panic in the ranks of the Russian army," the deputy mayor concluded.
