Russia prepares for Kherson defeat, panic and fear in the Kremlin - Mark Feigin
Russian opposition activist Mark Feigin believes that the Kremlin already understands that Russia will not be able to hold Kherson, and is trying to delay the Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive
He expressed his opinion on the air of the "Studio Zahid with Antin Borkovsky" program on the Espreso TV channel.
"They even add fear to the fact that Kherson will be liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, by showing their fear of possible de-occupation, the liberation of Kherson, they only add to the feeling of anxiety. That is, if this happens, the collapse will be even stronger, because they have already prepared it with their reactions. That is, fearing it, redeploying troops there, trying to counterattack. They plan to move forward while Ukrainian Armed Forces are busy trying to repel this new attack, thus delaying the moment of the possible start of the operation to de-occupy the right bank of the Dnieper," Feygin explained.
The politician noted that the battle for Kherson will be decisive in the Russian-Ukrainian war
"I think that this is a key moment in this situation, because everyone understands that the battle for Kherson will be decisive in this war. If Ukraine really manages to de-occupy Kherson, then the question arises: what is all this for? Why are tens of thousands of lives at risk, if you were not even able to defend Kherson, which was captured in the first weeks of the war? The question arises, why did this whole story begin, if you did not capture Kyiv, and did not hold Kherson? Yes, in this there is a danger of shifting the transformation to the internal circuit, so that its populace, electrified by propaganda, suddenly experienced such disappointment - how could it be? What is this? We have soldiers dying here, and you and the military are useless and the strategists are nowhere, and the whole world is now against Moscow. And all this, of course, adds fear to the Kremlin," he added.
