Poland to become Ukraine's biggest ally on its EU path - MP Kniazhytskyi
Ukrainian MP Mykola Kniazhytskyi is convinced that Poland is and will be Ukraine's main ally on the path to joining the European Union
He said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel
"The election campaign in Poland was democratic. It is very important for all Ukrainians that democracy in Poland wins and is preserved. Because for us, Poland should be and will be our biggest ally on the way to the EU. The Polish elections were won by the opposition, which was divided into three groups: Platforma Obywatelska, Third Way, together with the Peasant Party, and Lewica. These three parties will form the new government in Poland," said Knyazhytskyi.
The MP explained how the new government in Poland will be formed
"Today, Prime Minister Morawiecki resigned his post before the new parliament. Next will be very interesting parliamentary elections. After all, there are many positions, and the Platforma Obywatelska party will run for prime minister, while two other coalition parties have been running for the speaker's post. Therefore, it was decided that for the first two years, Szymon Hołownia, who is the leader of the Third Way party, would be the speaker of parliament, and for the next two years, a politician from Lewica would be the speaker. In other words, the parties have divided not only the positions, but also the time they will hold these positions," he added.
