"Sasha died in battle. He volunteered on the first day. A man of steel willpower. A man of noble intentions. A man with the best playlist in the company. Our great mind. Our humor. Our magical voice. Rest in peace," wrote Vasyl Samokhvalov, Oleksandr's colleague.
Oleksandr Bondarenko was a philologist, he studied at the Luhansk Pedagogical University, and worked on several Ukrainian TV channels.
He started in journalism as a radio presenter on FM radio in Luhansk. He worked at BBC Ukraine and UkraineTV channel. Then he engaged in the field of communications.
From the very first day of the full-scale Russian invasion, he had been fighting at the front.
