It will be Russian land or scorched earth: Russian general on the mining of key locations at Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant
Russia has openly declared that its forces will use the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Energodar for nuclear blackmail. A public statement says that they have placed mines at key locations in the plant in preparation for Ukrainian Armed Forces' attempts to liberate this strategic facility.
This statement was made by the commander of the Russian occupation garrison at the ZNPP Valery Vasiliev. Propaganda mass media published the words of the head of the radiation, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian Armed Forces. After some time, the post was deleted, but a screenshot of the publication remained on social networks.
Addressing the invaders, Russian Army Major General Valery Vasiliev said the Kremlin was waging a full-scale war against Ukraine for "the right to exist of the Russian people and the right to live in peace with everyone." According to the commander of the occupying garrison of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the Russian Armed Forces are ready for any scenario and will respond to the further supply of American weapons to Kyiv and attempts to de-occupy the captured territories.
Vasiliev also admitted that the Russian troops mined all the important facilities of the ZNPP and are ready to blackmail the West with a nuclear facility.
"This station was built by the Russian people for all Slavic brothers, and now the Nazis have decided to decommunize our common past. There will be either a free Russian land or a scorched earth. You, soldiers of the Russian army, must be ready to carry out an important order. We replaced all important objects of the ZNPP, and we do not hide this from the enemy. The enemy knows that the station will be either Russian or nobody's. You must understand that we have no other way. If there is the toughest order, we must carry it out with honor." - said the major general of the Russian Armed Forces.
