First episode of Dog Patron animated series is released

"Dog Patron from Chernihiv has become a symbol of hope and resilience for many Ukrainians, especially children. USAID is proud to support the new animated series about Patron the dog," the statement reads.

The first episode of the animated series was published on YouTube on January 7, 2023.

"In the 1st episode "Destroyed Bridge", the dog Patron tells his friend, the cat Tom, about his working day. He received a signal about a destroyed bridge and smelled danger with his nose. How the dog Patron dealt with this situation and what Mr. Carp has to do with it - see in the first episode," the description to the cartoon reads.

The music for the animated series was written by musician Pianoboy, and the roles were voiced by Ukrainian stars, including: Dasha Astafieva, Taras Stadnytsky and Nadia Dorofeeva.

On May 27, the dog Patron, who works with rescuers of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, received the Cannes Palm Dog Award.
