Center for Countering Disinformation publishes selection of Russian fakes
On February 7, the Center for Countering Disinformation published a selection of fakes produced by Russian propaganda.
This is reported by Espreso TV.
According to the CCD at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on February 7, the Russians pushed deceptive information in three ways.
Manipulation: Russian mass media reported that "the corruption scandal in Ukraine indicates the improper use of Western supplies" with reference to the French politician F. Filippo.
"The money we send just gets stolen, billion by billion! Let's stop it."
Disinformation: Russian Minister of Defense Shoigu stated: "Ukrainian reluctance to cease fire during the Orthodox Christmas serves as evidence of the barbaric nature of their leadership. In total, the enemy launched more than 550 attacks ... The troops (of the Russian Federation - ed.) repelled these attacks and continue to protect Ukrainians from genocide by the Kyiv regime".
Manipulation: Russian propaganda media claimed that "V. Zaluzhnyi reported the negative AFU morale near Bakhmut due to the President's Office unwillingness to withdraw the troops to more beneficial positions. The fighters consider themselves cannon fodder."
