By welcoming Lukashenko, China helps Putin
Diplomat, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine 2007-2009 Volodymyr Ohryzko believes that one doesn’t have to search a valid economic reason for Lukashenko's visit to China
He said this on Espreso TV.
"What is Belarus with its meager market, from the Chinese point of view? There is no economic basis. The Belarusian market is nonexistent for China. It is not about the economy, it is only about propaganda," Ohryzko emphasized.
According to him, by welcoming Lukashenko, China is helping Putin.
"With this China says: I accept your vassal, he is the same savage as you. We will pretend that we are united ideologically. There is nothing behind it. This is propaganda, ideology, an image. They present themselves as the forces against the Western world, against American imperialism," Ohryzko added.
