Lukashenko meeting with Xi Jinping declares support for China's "peace plan" for Ukraine
At a meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping, self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has expressed support for Beijing's "peace plan" for Ukraine

CNN reported the information.
"Today's meeting is held at a very difficult time which requires new nonstandard approaches and responsible political decisions," Lukashenko said.
He declared his task "to prevent a global confrontation which will have no winners."
"Belarus has been actively proposing peace and fully supports your initiative on international security," Lukashenko concluded.

On February 28, Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Beijing to meet with Xi Jinping.

On February 24, China unveiled its "peace plan" for Ukraine. Beijing did not support Ukraine, but called for an end to "unilateral sanctions." The document also calls the war a "crisis."
