Why will Russia lose? Just because waging a fictitious war is much more difficult than a real one

Ukraine’s success in the war only demonstrates what a consolidated Ukrainian society, trained in effective coordinated activity, is capable of, Volodymyr Hevko writes

Ukrainians demonstrate miracles of adaptation to the horrors of war, quickly accepting its most idiotic rules and signs - killed and wounded, air raid alarms, 'kamikaze' drones flying between houses, rockets, black-mouth propaganda, turning off lights and heat, as well as many other things that were completely abnormal and shocking even a year ago. And now we just accepted it, included it in the current paradigm of our lives. Ukrainians normalized it to be able to cope with it. In order not to be shocked every morning, waking up, not to experience hell anew. This is normal and correct.

But what is important is that we should not forget that this war is still an absolutely abnormal phenomenon and it is our common task with the civilized world to push it out of our reality as soon as possible and back into the area of hypotheses and theories. It is a pity that our enemy turned out to be so wicked and bloodthirsty that it made it impossible to end the war through diplomatic means at the very beginning. This complicates our situation, but does not mean that we are in this hell forever.

The pre-war predictions of futurists and political scientists that big wars are impossible in the 21st century are still relevant, but they are simply based on logic and sober calculation. We are dealing with an idiot attacker who is guided by irrational resentment and complexes. Logic and sober calculation on February 23 showed Russia that attacking Ukraine with such a wide front is pointless and such actions are almost guaranteed to lead to international isolation and defeat. This happened. But they, logic and sober calculation, were ignored and now we have trouble. Because waging a big war in the globalist world is really pointless - you gain nothing, only spend endlessly. What the Russian soldiers stole in Ukraine is a pittance compared to how much they spent on preparing for the war and its implementation.

"The pre-war predictions of futurists and political scientists that major wars are impossible in the 21st century are still relevant, but they are simply based on logic and sober calculation. We are dealing with an idiot attacker who is guided by irrational resentment and complexes."

On the fertile field of war crimes and cruise missiles, many experts have emerged who to claim that the war was inevitable, and only the blind could not see that it was coming. That we were actually doomed to all these murders and destruction  But it is not so. Only urban madmen really predicted the war, and only they turned out to be right. And there is no miracle in this, only a madman can predict crazy things.

War is anomalous and good will always triumph over evil in the final reckoning. This banal, almost childish thesis has a lot of considerable evidence. For example, in the First World War, good won over evil, because evil simply lost resources, inertia and effort, and at some point the opponents realized why we are doing it, it is more profitable and cheaper to stop doing it. In the Second World War, we had to fight with the textbook evil, Hitler, for a longer time, but he also had no chance of victory. Even if he captured the USSR, the US, Britain and other countries would still not let him win, and it would still end a year later with the nuclear bombing of Berlin. The Germans were lucky that he committed suicide and ended his agony. The Russians are not so lucky at the moment and they are paying for this unjust war with their lives and the future of their country. They pay very generously.

"War is anomalous and good will always win over evil in the final reckoning. This banal, almost childish thesis has a lot of considerable evidence"

After all, all of Hitler's significant victories were bloodless - either through inaction and attempts at "appeasement" or simply the absence of military resistance. As soon as the world decided that enough was enough and entered the war, everything ended quite quickly. The same with Putin. All of his "victories", multiple moves and "Putin outplayed everyone" were only when, in fact, no one played with him anything, when they simply did not deal with the fool. He was allowed to do bullsh*t and bad things, the world turned a blind eye to this, and he thought that he was winning. But as soon as they said stop, everything suddenly slowed down. Nothing worked – neither the “gas needle”, nor the extensive agent network, and Western politicians bought for billions. Now only a fool can claim that Putin beat someone. Possibly himself? Because he ruined his career and position with one wrong decision. All that was earned by hard work for twenty years.

"Russia spends simply unimaginable resources on the possibility of waging war, and it is especially difficult because it does not have any real reasons for war. Waging a fictitious war is many times more difficult than a real one"

Yes, it is difficult for us to think about the end, being somewhere in the middle, especially during another air raid alert, but this war will definitely end. Russia spends simply unimaginable resources on the possibility of waging war, and it is especially difficult because it does not have any real reasons for war. Waging a fictitious war is many times more difficult than a real one. And that is why it is very difficult for them to explain why the mobilization and why aircraft fall on houses. Soviet myths about the Panfilov people and "retreat somewhere, Moscow is behind us" do not work, because no one attacked them.

War is abnormal. And even if we are very organic and adapted to it now, and Ukraine's Armed Forces are the gods of war, this does not mean that our military can be talented only in war and finally found themselves there. No, they are simply intelligent and capable people who, even in peaceful life, demonstrated success in other areas, and the war gave them unprecedented motivation. And our successes in the war only demonstrate what a consolidated Ukrainian society, trained in effective coordinated activity, is capable of. Let's support them every day, let the war end as soon as possible and they all return to normal life.
