An explosion took place on Senyavin street in Kherson. Russia claims that Ukrainian partisan scouts blew up a car with the 90th penal colony head Yevhen Sobolev inside.
"The explosive device attached to a tree detonated an Audi car. The head of the colony № 90, Yevhen Sobolev, who cooperated with the occupation authorities, was behind the wheel. The Russian military announced a terrorist attack of Ukrainian partisans.
The driver survived. Witnesses say that an explosion wave hit a cyclist who was passing by," the statement said.
Former Ukrainian National Anticorruption Bureau agent Yevhen Shevchenko shared a video on Facebook.
"It seems that the traitor was lucky. He received a number of injuries, but is still alive and is currently in hospital," Shevchenko commented.
