According to the publication, a group of about 70 Ukrainians landed on Tuesday and begin exercise today.
The German government, after consultations with the US, decided to provide Ukraine with a complete Patriot system for repelling attacks by drones, missiles or aircraft. Such a system includes a fire control center, a radar, an electricity generator and six or more launch units installed on a truck.

On January 17, it became known that the Ukrainian military arrived at the US Army base in Oklahoma for exercise on the Patriot air defense system.

On December 21, 2022, the United States announced the decision to transfer the Patriot ADMS to Ukraine. The Patriot air defense system is capable of shooting down cruise missiles, short-range ballistic missiles and aircraft at much higher altitudes than air defense systems previously provided to Ukraine.
