Ukraine's army reaches critical Russian defense line in South
According to Russian media, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have approached the defense line, the so-called dragon's teeth, of the enemy army in one of the frontline areas of Zaporizhzhia region
This was reported by CNN.
"Ukrainian forces in southern Ukraine can be seen for the first time at one of Russia's long-stretching "dragon's teeth" defensive lines in a new video circulating on Russian social media," the statement said.
The media identified the video's geolocation as an area east of the villages of Nove and Kharkove in the Polohy district of the Zaporizhzhia region.
"The video was taken from a Russian military position and shows a Ukrainian military vehicle moving in a field, heading toward a ditch in front of a large row of "dragon's teeth" — concrete and rebar pyramids that can serve as barriers against tanks," the journalists say.
For reference. The reinforced concrete structures "dragon's teeth" are square-pyramidal fortifications 90-120 cm high. According to satellite imagery, the Russians have placed the dragon's teeth across the entire territory they have seized. The "teeth" are stretched in three rows in depth, reaching hundreds of kilometers.
