Russian army considers possible retreat deeper into Crimean peninsula
Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Hanna Maliar said that the Russian army is considering a retreat deep into the peninsula, so it is equipping the approaches to Crimea with "dragon's teeth"
She wrote about this on her Telegram.
It is noted that the occupation forces are doing this in the depths of the temporarily occupied territory, at a certain distance to the current line of contact. In particular, there is information about their installation in the Perekop direction.
"The installation of concrete barriers "dragon's teeth" indicates that the military leadership of the Russian Federation is considering a retreat to the far frontiers, in particular deep into the temporarily occupied Crimea," the post says.
She also noted that Russian soldiers who are on the front line and behind whom defensive lines are being set up are likely to be killed.
"In such circumstances, only voluntary surrender remains the only way to salvation," Maliar said.
- On 9 June, it became known that Russians were preparing to escape from the north of the temporarily occupied Crimea, in particular from Armyansk, where they mined the Crimean Titanium chemical plant.
