Ukraine's Armed Forces have struck the invading Russian forces' headquarters, located at the Sokil plant in Nova Kakhovka
This was announced by the deputy of the Kherson Regional Council, Serhii Khlan, on Facebook.
According to the report, today, August 28, the Ukrainian military attacked the Russian invaders' headquarters in Nova Kakhovka.
"Kherson region. Although Russian propagandists write that their anti-aircraft fire could be clearly heard - in Nova Kakhovka, the Russians received another hit from Ukraine's Armed Forces. Ours hit the headquarters that the invaders had set up at the Sokil plant", Khlan wrote.
Ukrainian military journalist Andrii Tsaplienko posted a video on Telegram showing the factory after the work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"In short, guys, the Sokol plant is no more. Five shells hit", it is noted.
"Sokil Shipbuilding Plant is a military-industrial enterprise that existed from 1960 to 2013, giving its name to the city district around it. The main production was radio hydroacoustic devices and hydroacoustic stations for detecting and destroying submarines and other ships. Factory premises seized by the Russian occupiers", Tsaplienko wrote.
