Putin wants to sow chaos — military expert Grant names Putin's priorities
Glen Grant, a retired British Army colonel and military expert, noted that the EU and the US remain united, and this does not play in Putin's favor
He expressed this opinion in the Verdict with Serhiy Rudenko program on Espreso TV channel.
"Putin's goal is to conquer Ukraine, and he still wants to do it. Putin wants to sow chaos wherever possible. His first priority is to shift and divert the focus of NATO member states away from Ukraine. The second priority is that Putin wants to divide the EU and the US. He realizes that the EU countries remain united, and this does not play in his favor," Grant emphasized.
According to the colonel, Putin wants to have more partners and allies.
"In Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, and Bulgaria, Putin wants to sow his puppet leaders in the parliaments. We should not look at this situation only as a war on the battlefield. Yes, Putin will continue to fight in Ukraine, but there is a lot more going on besides that," Grant said.
