Russian troops destroy Kherson with mortars

"Most of Kherson's municipal equipment was lost due to Russian strikes. Terrible explosions can be heard all over the city. There have been dozens of them tonight. Mortar and artillery fire continue. Equipment and private houses are burning. Infrastructure facilities and multi-story buildings are being destroyed," Luhova noted.

The head of the Kherson military administration also added that it is dangerous to be in any part of the city.

"A maternity ward was destroyed recently. The situation in the city is difficult, people are leaving the city. There are not enough emergency crews to eliminate the consequences of shelling. But shops continue to operate, and a port office in Ukrposhta works. People have united. There is no longer a safe area left in Kherson, everywhere is dangerous," Luhova stressed.
