Russian redeployment: British intelligence assesses situation near Robotyne
Russia has redeployed forces from other frontline areas to replace units around Robotyne. This may limit Russia's ability to advance in other areas
The UK Ministry of Defense reports.
It is noted that Ukrainian defenders have advanced to the main Russian defense line east of the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian dismounted infantry forces continue to make gradual tactical advances towards Russian positions.
In addition, according to the intelligence, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to successfully advance south of Bakhmut, making gradual gains near Klishchiivka and Avdiivka.
"It is highly likely that Russia has redeployed forces from other areas of the front line to replace the degraded units around Robotyne," the intelligence service noted.
In their opinion, the Russian redeployments are likely limiting Russia's ability to carry out offensive operations in other parts of the front line. The redeployment also likely indicates pressure on Russian defense lines, especially around Robotyne.
