Russia prepares information alibi for possible terrorist attack in Uman

Russian propagandists promote fake information that Ukraine is planning to stage a terrorist attack on September 15 in Uman, where tens of thousands of Hasidic pilgrims will gather to celebrate Rosh Hashanah.

According to the propagandists, after the attack, the Ukrainian side allegedly plans to accuse Russia of "crimes against humanity."

"We urge not to succumb to enemy manipulations, to respond to air alerts, to follow safety rules and to trust only sources of verified information. By spreading such fakes, the enemy is trying to create an information alibi for future terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine," emphasizes the Center for Countering Disinformation.
