Russia panics: military expert Zgurets analyzes events on left bank of Dnipro River
Defense Express CEO Serhiy Zgurets noted that Russian troops are forced to move their reserves to the left bank, which weakens their actions in other areas
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Ukrainian forces do have what can be called footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. This is a site near Antonivka Bridge, in the area of the railroad and road bridge, and a second foothold near the village of Krynky, where the Russian enemy was driven out. Currently, we are setting up logistics support from the right bank for Ukrainian units operating on the left bank," explained Zgurets.
According to the military expert, the road controlled by Ukraine's forces from the right bank runs close to difficult areas along the Dnipro River.
"There is an even more powerful road that is controlled by the Russians. Control over the roads depends on the forces and means. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are effectively using drones and artillery. Russia is already panicking, transferring some units from the Zaporizhzhia direction to the area connected with the activities of Ukrainian forces on the left bank. The main goal of the Defense Forces at this stage is to introduce instability into Russia's actions, forcing him to use reserves. And this weakens their actions in other areas," emphasized Zgurets.
- The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, noted that the results of the Armed Forces' combat work on the left bank of the Dnipro River will be discussed when the security of operations allows it.
- The Institute for the Study of War writes that the Defense Forces cut the Oleshky-Nova Kakhovka road in Kherson region and created additional logistical problems for the Russian invaders in this area.
