Putin can remove Mishustin as potential rival - Feygin
The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, does not need a strong figure to head the government, so Mikhail Mishustin can be removed from his post
Russian opposition politician Mark Feygin said this on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
According to him, ex-president of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev will never get real power again.
"The apparatus has a different vision, the talks are about Mishustin, and formally, according to the Constitution, he should replace Putin, if anything. Because he is the acting president, it is written in the Constitution. Of course, the Constitution is chewed up paper, no one is on it and does not look back, but he is not directly responsible for the war, only indirectly. As a prime minister, he, an economic manager, could. He is less bloodthirsty, his plans are to continue living hedonistically in the same way, through the exploitation of the enslaved population of Russia, and not to fight," Feygin emphasized.
According to the oppositionist, the talks that Mishustin is going to be removed from the post of prime minister are most likely not unfounded.
"Putin is preparing in advance to eliminate Mishustin as a potential, perhaps even unrealistic, rival. Another thing is that Putin will never appoint a strong figure to the post of prime minister. No strong figure in the role of prime minister, not counting himself, has ever happened before. Putin will only appoint someone who may not be Dmitry Patrushev, the 42-year-old who can potentially replace Putin. He must be a manageable figure. And even if he builds potential, he must be removed in time. This has always happened,” he concluded.
