Putin did not say anything new in his Valday speech, only once again he confirmed that he is fighting not only against Ukraine but also against the entire Western world

The leader of the European Solidarity Party, Poroshenko, said this on the air of the French TV channel LCI.

"Putin did not say anything new. He demonstrated that he is at war not only with Ukraine - Putin is at war with freedom, democracy, and the entire democratic Western world. He calls it the "collective West". This means that he is fighting, including against France," Poroshenko explained.

"This is a manifesto of hatred for the West, for freedom and for democracy. And despite the fact that he has now allegedly taken away the "temperature" of the performance, in terms of content it is even worse. Putin, while declaring Russia's right to its culture, its history, categorically and hypocritically denies Ukraine the right to its history, its culture, and ultimately the right to our existence," Poroshenko emphasized.

"It is very difficult to find a compromise, because Putin wants to kill us, and we want to live. Putin wants to erase Ukraine from the world map, and we want to live in our country with a thousand-year history and return it to the family of European nations. With European values, with European freedom, with European democracy," explains the fifth president.

"Recommendations in this regard can only be as follows. The first appeal to all your viewers, an appeal to all Frenchmen, to all Europeans, an appeal to the world: do not believe Putin. Putin has never told and never tells the truth. And appeal number two: do not be afraid of Putin. Take the example of Ukraine. If we were afraid of Putin, he would have seized Ukraine within a week," Poroshenko said.

"But the army created eight years ago, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, did not just destroy Putin's project to create Novorossiya in 2014-2015. Two-thirds of the occupied Donbas were not simply liberated. We have given a decent response to a large-scale invasion. And with the help of NATO, the civilized world, we fought back against Putin, pushing him away from Kyiv, from Sumy, from Chernihiv, from Poltava, from Kharkiv," states Petro Poroshenko.

He believes that Putin is beginning to understand more and more the mess he found himself in. He is getting out of the bubble he created for himself for 20 years - about the world's second army, the world's second state, and the influence of Putin's crazy dictatorship on all countries of the world, especially the neighboring ones.

"Today we see the first signs that Putin is losing faith in his scenarios. And there is only one way out of this - Putin will inevitably face a disaster if he does not urgently take measures to stop the war," Poroshenko is convinced.

"You will not find any other nation in the world that wants peace as much as Ukrainians. But for this, " Poroshenko said that Putin must withdraw his troops, his marauders, his terrorists, his murderers and his criminals from Ukrainian land, leaving our people and our country alone," Poroshenko said.

"I think that Putin has already lost in this competition. I am very grateful to the Western world for this - for unity and solidarity with Ukraine," he emphasized.
