Nuclear weapons are a limit that Putin will not cross - Viola von Cramon
Member of the European Parliament Viola von Cramon believes that the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine is a red line for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and he will not dare to cross it
She expressed her opinion on Espreso TV.
“Indeed, the potential consequences for Putin and Russia will be serious and significant, and will destroy not only him, but also many of his allies in Russia. I think the Chinese president has also told Putin that. I think there is a certain red line, and this red line is definitely the use of nuclear weapons, tactical nuclear bombs against Ukraine,” Viola von Cramon said.
The member of the European Parliament is convinced that the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will not use nuclear weapons, and he needs them as a tool to intimidate the world.
“I am almost sure that this is a line that he will not cross, but of course he is playing with it now, clutching at straws. But I very much doubt that he will use nuclear weapons against Ukraine or against any other state,” she added.
