New conditions for Ukrainian offensive arise
There are new opportunities for the AFU counteroffensive. Russia is trying to prevent it and gather more forces in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and northern Ukraine.
Mykhailo Samus, a military expert and an expert of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies shared his views with Espreso TV.
The military expert noted that he does not understand why American General Mark Milley believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have reached their limit and in the future it is necessary to prepare a political basis for negotiations with the Russian Federation.
"Right now, new conditions for Ukraine to continue offensive actions are arising, and Russia is looking for opportunities to stop the Ukrainian offensive and get a break, or even start consulting to gather reserves, perhaps to the north of Ukraine - in Belarus, to bring more forces to Melitopol and build more powerful defensive positions and support on the left bank of the Kherson region. Russia has a lot of tasks that require time. And the fact that Ukraine is not giving them time now, intensifying its offensive, is a real problem for them."
