Iranian drones can be launched from Belarusian part of Chernobyl zone - Belarusian Gayun
The publication analyzed the territory of the country and determined that the only place where drones can be launched is the Belarusian sector of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
Belarusian Gayun reported this on Telegram.
The report states that the publication analyzed the testimony of eyewitnesses who recorded the flights of drones on the territory of Ukraine. Based on the information received, the most likely area was the Polissky Radiation-Ecological Reserve.
"Why is there? Most of the year, this reserve is actually a closed area. There is no one there except security guards, and there are places where mobile communication is not even available, not to mention the Internet," writes Belarusian Gayun.
The Telegram channel notes that, thanks to satellite images, it was possible to identify several specific areas where minimal terrain changes were observed in recent months.
Two settlements were named - the disappeared village of Ulasy, located 4.5 km away from the border with Ukraine and the disappeared village of Kozhuski.
In Ulas they noticed the appearance of trampled paths and cleared roads for driving. According to the publication, the village is in the middle of nowhere, and there is simply no one there who could report a possible launch. The distance to the nearest residential village of Dvor-Savichi (Braginsky district) is almost 20 km.
New tracks and the movement of military equipment were also noticed in Kozhushki.
On October 25, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that his country would not remain indifferent if it was proven that Russia was using their drones in the war in Ukraine.
