France decides to triple ammunition production and supply rate for Ukraine

Ambassador of Ukraine to France Vadym Omelchenko told LB.ua about this.

He mentioned that Ukraine is in ongoing discussions with its partners regarding the provision of specific weapons and necessary components.

"There's an ongoing and pressing matter - the supply of 155-caliber ammunition. France has taken on the responsibility to provide these projectiles at a consistent pace. The production facilities are currently operating around the clock, and France's specialized factories have switched to emergency mode. Here's some positive news: the French have decided to triple their production and delivery rate. This is a highly significant development," the diplomat expressed.

He highlighted that France reveals information about arms deliveries only once the items are already in Ukraine and deployed on the frontlines.

"France has set a condition for arms shipments - maintaining absolute secrecy: they prioritize the safety of logistics and aim for a smooth arrival and operational process for the weapons," the ambassador clarified.

• On July 13, the French parliament approved a rise in military expenditure for the next seven years in response to Ukraine's full-scale invasion and global security threats.
