China’s envoy did not deny territorial integrity of Ukraine – Foreign Minister Kuleba
Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has denied that Chinese Ambassador Li Hui called for an immediate ceasefire while recognizing Russia's occupation of Ukrainian territories
Kuleba said this during his video address.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister noted that after receiving this information, he contacted his European counterparts from the capitals where Li Hui had visited, and none of them confirmed it.
"None of them confirms that there were any talks or negotiations about recognizing the territories in Ukraine that Russia is currently occupying. I urge you to keep a cool mind, common sense, and not to react emotionally to every publication. We control the process, no one will do anything against us behind Ukraine's back," the minister said.
He added that Ukraine will continue to engage in dialogue with China, but "it will be conducted in accordance with three basic principles": mutual respect for territorial integrity, no proposals that involve territorial concessions will be considered by Ukraine, and no frozen conflict.

On May 26, the Wall Street Journal wrote that China's special envoy Li Hui, during a trip to Europe, called for an immediate end to the war in Ukraine by giving the seized territories to Russia.
