China benefits from Russia, and Putin is not satisfied with the level of Beijing’s support - China expert Koval

China expert Oleksiy Koval stated this speaking to Espreso TV.

"China helps Russia, but with a profit for itself. If Russia is now selling coal twice as cheaper as it costs on the world market, then why not buy it. For China, this is a normal practice - to use the circumstances Russia has forced itself into,” he noted.

In his opinion, China will continue to benefit from what Russia is doing.

"This does not mean that China is helping Russia, that is, Putin is not satisfied with the way things are - he expected more active support. This situation will continue - China will use the Russian Federation under current conditions," Koval concluded.
