Center for Countering Disinformation published a selection of fakes produced by the Russian propaganda on January 31
This is reported by Espresso TV.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on January 31, the Russians tried to push deceptive information in three ways.
Manipulation: Russian media reported that Charles de Gaulle's grandson Pierre called on European leaders to "reason" the Americans and achieve peace with the Russian Federation.
"It is necessary to provide security guarantees to Russia. France has become unfriendly to the Russian Federation due to ill-considered policies and erroneous decisions. We must work together for the future of two great nations - the Russian Federation and France."
Misinformation: American journalist Danny Haiphong stated that "In the beginning of the war Ukraine had three thousand tanks. Ask yourself what happened to them. What makes you think that a few dozen [tanks] from the USA will make a difference."
Manipulation: Quoting a member of the US House of Representatives from the Republican Party, M. Green, Russian media reported: "Now the warmongers in the US are saying that in order to protect Ukraine, Ukrainians should invade Crimea and take it from the Russian Federation. All with the help of American leadership, funding, support and supply of weapons."
