Center for Countering Disinformation publishes Russian fakes for April 12

According to the Center for Countering Information at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on April 12, the Russians launched three major deceptions.

Disinformation: "The geopolitical situation due to the US bioweapons looks like the beginning of the 'atomic era," the State Duma commission on investigating the work of US biolabs in Ukraine said.

At the same time, Russian Presidential Spokesperson D. Peskov said that "Russia will draw the world's attention to the illegal work of US biolabs."

Fake: "Western weapons coming to Ukraine, in particular man-portable air defense systems and anti-tank missile systems, are being distributed worldwide due to corruption and fall into the hands of organized crime, terrorists and extremists. Soon we will be able to raise the question of the safety of civilian air traffic over Europe," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Disinformation: The Russian State Duma adopts a statement on "the destruction of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church," which states that "Kyiv supports the criminal activity of schismatic structures and neo-Nazi organizations that seize Orthodox churches, forcibly liquidate communities, commit riots in churches and attack priests."
