The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of fakes that Russia produced on January 26

National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine stated on January 26, the Russian forces launched three major deceptions.
Manipulation: Director General of the Russian Tactical Missile Arms Corporation Boris Obnosov said that "the X-31PD aircraft missile can win dueling battles against the American Patriot anti-aircraft missile system."
Disinformation: Russian Orthodox Church head Vladimir Gundyaev said: "The Ukrainian authorities and their foreign patrons are now trying to use the Ukrainian Orthodox Church as a tool to incite Russian-Ukrainian hatred."
Manipulation: The head of the Russian delegation to the negotiations on military security and arms control (Vienna), Konstantin Gavrilov, said: "With the beginning of the supply of tanks to the Ukrainian Armed Force, Western countries will move to a new level of confrontation with Russia, <...> and the increase in assistance to Ukraine leads to the expansion of the borders of the special military operation".
