Attempts to isolate Russia have failed: Lavrov voices new narrative of Russian propaganda
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov promotes new propaganda narratives saying that Russia is making “the most significant humanitarian contribution to the world"
This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
"Attempts to isolate Russia have failed," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Lavrov also said that the West is allegedly trying to turn Russia into a pariah state. According to Russia's top diplomat, a "hybrid war" is allegedly being waged against the aggressor state, and Putin's foreign policy course of firmly defending national interests is allegedly proving "its effectiveness."
"In fact, statements about fictitious victories on the diplomatic front are another preparation of the audience for the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, where Putin will talk about the greatness of the Russians. Lavrov's recent foreign trips to Mali, South Africa, Eritrea, Sudan, Mauritania, and Angola clearly show Russia's true foreign policy," the Center for Countering Disinformation notes.
Lavrov also cynically called Russia "the country that makes the most significant contribution to the humanitarian development of the world."
