Zelenskyy tells Moldovan President about Kremlin's plans to seize power in Moldova
Ukrainian intelligence intercepted the Kremlin's plan to destroy the political situation in Moldova: Moscow planned to destroy democracy in the country and seize power
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during a speech at a special meeting of the European Council on February 9, RBC-Ukraine reports.
Thus, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy claimed that he had passed on to his counterpart, Maia Sandu, information about the Kremlin's plans to take control of Moldova:
"Recently, I spoke with the president of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and informed her about what our intelligence managed to intercept: a detailed Russian plan for the political situation in Moldova. A Russian document that shows who, when and as a result of which actions are going to break Moldova, the democratic order of this country and establish control over it," the President of Ukraine said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy added that he does not know whether Moscow gave the order to act according to this plan, but it reveals what Russia was going to do.
"We have recognized in this plan exactly what they have already tried to do against Ukraine and against other states, particularly in Europe," the president added.
