"Your leadership plans to drag people into a dirty war": Ukrainian Armed Forces appeal to Belarusians

The video appeared on the page of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Today, your leadership is preparing to join Russian armed aggression against Ukraine and is going to involve the Belarusian people in a dirty war," the appeal says.

Ukrainian Armed Forces note that our peoples have been friends for centuries and had good neighborly relations: "Many times in our history we fought against common enemies, always supported each other."

Now, under the guise of inspections, a covert mobilization of citizens of Belarus has begun.

"Since February 24, the territory of your state has been used to launch missile, air and artillery strikes on the territory of Ukraine. An attack on Kyiv was conducted through the territory of Belarus. Ukraine has not yet responded to this aggression. We value friendship between our people more than responding to the criminal actions of your leadership. In his speeches, Lukashenko talks about unrealistic military threats and readiness for preventive actions," the appeal says.

Ukrainian Armed Forces added that Ukrainians "don't want this", and therefore ask to ignore criminal orders, because dictators will leave, and war criminals "one way or another end up on the dock".

"We call on all citizens of Belarus not to comply with the orders of your leadership to go to war against Ukraine, which is a crime according to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus and the norms of international law.

The walls are falling and Kremlin is not eternal either. Empires crumble, leaving nations, ordinary people who can be friends and can be enemies. How it will depend not on Lukashenka and Putin, but on each of you. If you are somehow forced to cross the Belarusian-Ukrainian border with a weapon in your hands, do not use your weapon.  Stop, lower the barrels down and wait for representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.  In this case, no one will shoot at you. God and truth are with Ukraine, and you need to make the right choice," Ukrainian Armed Forces emphasized.
