Ukrainian police searches for two British volunteers missing near Soledar
Ukraine’s police are looking for two volunteers - citizens of Great Britain, who disappeared near Soledar while helping to evacuate civilians
This was reported on the Telegram channel of Ukraine’s national police.
“On January 7, around 5:15 p.m., the duty unit of the Bakhmut district police department received a report about the disappearance of two volunteers - citizens of Great Britain, aged 28 and 48,” the post says.
It is also known that the day before, on January 6, at 8:00 a.m. Andrew Bagshaw and Christopher Parry left Kramatorsk for Soledar, and contact with them was lost.
The police of the Donetsk region are carrying out investigative and operational measures to locate the missing persons. Criminal proceedings have been opened under Clause 1, Part 2 of Article 115 (disappeared).
