Ukraine’s border guards repel five attacks in Bakhmut area: enemy retreats
In the Bakhmut direction Ukrainian border guards have fended off five attacks by Russian invaders, the enemy retreated

The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook
"With the artillery support, the enemy tried five times to storm various positions of the border units involved in the defense in the Bakhmut direction. However, it was in vain. The border guards repelled all attacks firing from small arms and group weapons," the message says.
It is reported that the Russian forces have retreated, their losses are being specified.
- Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi visited the positions of defending troops in the Bakhmut and Soledar regions of Donetsk region.
- Commander of the Freedom battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine Lieutenant Yevhen Oropai noted that several enemy infantry assaults took place near Bakhmut at night.
- Military expert, reserve colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Svitan noted that the enemy has increased the density of troops in the Soledar area.
