Ukrainian crews to start training on Leopard tanks on February 6, aircraft issue under discussion - Ukraine's Defense Minister Reznikov
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov says that on February 6, training of Ukrainian tank crews outside Ukraine on German Leopard tanks will start
Interfax-Ukraine reported the information citing Reznikov's statement.
"Tomorrow, on Monday, the training of tank crews outside Ukraine on Leopard tanks will begin. We continue to hold discussions with our partners, and soon there will be a visit of distinguished guests, and we will talk about spare parts for Leopard, their repair, maintenance, etc." Reznikov said.
According to him, there is a clear understanding of how many tanks each country will provide to Ukraine. Reznikov is also confident that Ukraine will receive combat aircraft from its partners and emphasized that this issue is being discussed.
The minister emphasized that the partners hear the Ukrainian side and are aware that Ukraine needs an aviation platform. He noted that the brand and name of the aircraft are not important for Ukraine, and this issue will be resolved at the expert level with partners.
